Insect Protection System (IPS) is a "1.9 oz nylon no-see-um
mesh material designed to be attached on top of the standard
military cot or as a stand alone shelter.

Two
.355" OD Black Anodized 7075-T9 flexible Easton Poles
run through the netting for support. This system sets up to
a 30” high structure above the cot surface allowing a
person to sit up inside. Each end of the two Easton Poles
insert into the existing pole holes on any standard military
cot.
Four
individual straps are provided to secure each corner of the
IPS to the medal frame, securing it’s
attachment to the cot. The Nylon tub design on the base of
the 28-inch wide x 78-inch long sleeping surface, provides
protection from water and encloses the whole system for added
protection.

privacy cover is provided, which clips to the corners and can
also be used as a rain fly. "Kamp-Rite Insect Protection
System" is so compact and lightweight. The entire unit
folds up and fits into a carrying case 6" x 6 x 14"
and weighs less than 3 pounds. And can be easily stored into
your rucksack. |
